My name is Forbes Painter, I am a 2D Concept Artist with experience in 3D art within the Maya software. My recent role as a founder of an Indie Company allows me to explore the role of Creative Director along with my artist role. I am passionate about working within a team from pitch to production, collaborating within a team to create a cohesive workflow that brings stylized and creative art ideas to life.
My educational background is from University of Utah, the number one undergraduate program in Game Design. I received a Bachelors of Science in Engineering and Game Design with a focus in 2D and 3D art. Because of this great background I have learned many software from Adobe Photo shop, Illustrator, Procreate, and Maya. I am inspired by learning different ways to enhance creativity with technical learning of platforms bringing art to a new level.
Throughout the different projects that I have launched personally and within a company I have enjoyed the creative process of the story that brings the user experience a meaningful memorable game.
